This notice explains how Pepperclub Limited handles information on the PepperClub public website and pre-launch registration.
Who we are
This website is operated by Pepperclub Limited, a company based in the United Kingdom. For privacy questions, contact hello@pepperclub.co.uk.
What this website does
PepperClub is preparing a grocery delivery service for Derby. This website lets you register interest for the pre-launch campaign. It is not the shopping app and does not take grocery orders or payments.
Information you provide when you register
If you join the pre-launch, we process:
- your name
- your mobile number
- your email address
- where you heard about PepperClub, if you tell us
- whether you asked to receive launch news and offers
- your acceptance of the Terms and acknowledgement of this Privacy Notice
We do not currently collect a delivery address on this website. Address details belong with the PepperClub customer app when you add them there.
Phone verification
We send a one-time code to the mobile number you enter so we can confirm it is yours. That verification is handled by our SMS verification provider. We keep a record that the number was verified so your PepperClub customer profile can be created or updated.
Campaign registration and eligibility
A successful verification creates or updates your PepperClub customer profile and records that you registered for this campaign. Eligibility for the stated pre-launch offer is stored against that verified account. It is not a payment, credit, or delivery booking.
Technical and security information
Our hosting and security systems may process ordinary technical logs such as request time, IP address, user agent, and the page requested. We use these to operate, secure, and diagnose the website. We do not store your IP address on the campaign registration record.
The registration form uses a security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) to reduce automated abuse before a verification text is sent. That check is processed by Cloudflare.
Campaign links
If you arrive from a campaign link or QR code, we may keep first-touch marketing tokens from that link (source, medium, and campaign). We do not collect advertising click identifiers, the full URL, or your referrer for this purpose.
Marketing preference
Launch news and offers are optional. If you do not tick that box, we will not treat the form as a request for marketing. Leaving it unticked does not withdraw a marketing choice you may already have made elsewhere. You can contact us to update your preference.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics pixels, or a cookie preference manager. Essential operation of the site, hosting, and the security check may still use strictly necessary technical storage or server logs.
How long we keep information
We keep registration and account information while we operate the PepperClub service and for as long as we need it for security, customer support, or legal obligations. Specific retention periods will be confirmed as the service launches.
